Syllabus:

Prehistory of Australian settlement. Theories about Australia's first people. Processes of technoeconomic and sociocultural change in prehistoric Australia. Traditional aboriginal territorial pattern. Systems of resource management and use. Land custodianship and succession. The territorial anchorage of groups. Patterns of marriage, kinship and social organisation. Religious philosophy and action. Leadership and social control.
