Syllabus:

Tropical animal and crop production overseas and in Northern Australia. Technical and environmental constraints governing agricultural systems in the area. Economic and marketing constraints. Interrelationships of other industries with the agricultural sector and the supportive nature of each.
 

Unit Outcomes:

The student is required to understand the concepts in relation to Tropical Agriculture and its uses, how these concepts are applied to Tropical locations and indigeneous cultures.
