Syllabus:

This is the first stage of a research program dealing with an aspect of Futures Studies preferably linked to the students place of employment. A seminar presentation and defence of research proposal is required.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have defined a suitable research question. Conducted a relevent literature review. Developed a methodology appropriate for the research question. Written a research proposal to the standard required. Presented and defended the proposal to peers and academic staff.
