Syllabus:

The design of interactive and non-interactive audio-visual experiences with a broad range of applications. In particular, the identification of end user needs and characteristics, the identification of appropriate interactive /media types and styles, the development of prototypes, and the creation of formal design documentation.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Understood the need for accurate identification of the end users and clients needs. Understood principals of interactive and non-interactive media design. Understood the use of prototyping to inform design improvements. Formalised design characteristics and specifications in documentation. Identified and developed specific skills relevant to the proposed project.
