Syllabus:

An understanding of epidemiology, models of injury control and methods of injury coding and surveillance. Current Australian and international programs promoting injury control will be reviewed. Includes content related to most prevalent unintentional and intentional injuries. Explores educational/bahavioural, engineering/technological and legislative strategies. Application of effective design and implementation of injury control programs.
