Syllabus:

To develop skills to execute and report an applied psychology research project and to develop applied psychology skills in a professional placement setting.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Understanding and experience of issues involved in carrying out applied psychology research. Ability to carry out a relevant literature review and critically reflect on previous literature. Ability to use this information to design and carry out an applied psychology research study. Ability to apply and critically reflect on research design and analysis in the context of applied research. Demonstrated mastery of APA referencing and formatting inthe context of a formal research project. Experience in applying psychological assessment and intervention skills in an applied setting.
