Syllabus:

Discussion of anthropological concepts as they might apply to business. Investigating the cross-cultural considerations and institutional factors in international business and their impact on host countries and Australian business research.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Expanded research concepts and methodologies to an international context. Considered the effects of taken for granted methods of communication in other cultural settings. Criticised a piece of cross-cultural research. Utilised one cross-cultural method, decentering, so as to recognise etic and emic characteristics of research questions.
