Syllabus:

A focus on the planning policy response to urban economic processes. An introduction to urban political economy leads to an examination of policy and techniques for urban issues. Economic aspects of urban consolidation, decentralisation, gentrification and pollution are reviewed and discussion generated on local and global economic development issues.
