Syllabus:

A project unit developing hand skills and organisational methods. Students are introduced to the activities of the School of Design. Studio based projects involving practical technical preparation support and development of an appreciation of the range of design activities available within the school.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Followed the design process as a structure for creating a final design piece. Gained experience working as a group to assist with each individual's critical analysis and decision making process.Understood the impact of culture on design.
