Syllabus:

Strategic planning as an activity common to planning agencies in the public as well as private and non-profit sectors. The origins of strategic planning and the process of preparing, implementing and monitoring a strategic plan. Perspectives from leadingpractitioners. Preparation of a strategic plan for a small organisation. Essay examining the contribution of a strategic planning in s specific urban and regional planning initiative.
