Syllabus:

Electrical methods - principles and applications of DC resistivity, IP and complex resistivity, spontaneous potentials and electric well logging. Field trips and laboratory exercises are designed to develop compentence in acquisition, processing and interpretation of electric data.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- A comprehensive coverage of electrical techniques used in geophysical engineering.
