Syllabus:

Provides a greater insight into transnational business trends, strategies and operations. A strong emphasis towards global business perspectives and practical international business skills orientation. Topics include assessing country risk, global macro-economic and socio-political trends, the international trade and financial environment and other issues relevant to the global business environment.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have gained an awareness and insight into - The emergence of a global business economy. The international business environment. International trade and investment. Regional economic integration. International financial markets. The international monetary system.

These are - Final exam 50%, Group case study presentation 10%, Group Internet exercise presentation 10%, Group Research Paper 20%, Group researchPaper presentation 10%. This is by grade/mark assessment.
