Syllabus:

Use of programming systems and languages in education. Survey of systems presently in use, and emerging trends. Comparison of conventional programming languages and special purpose systems for courseware authoring and database applications. Study of interactive program development shells - strengths and limitations. Procedures for systems design, including user needs analysis.
