Syllabus:

A focus on practical and theoretical issues related to the use of Information Technology to promote teachers' use of multimedia and the Web in their teaching. The material covered includes the definintion and conceptual background of educational technology, methods for choosing and using educational software, alternative pedagogies to enhance learning with understanding in a computerised learning environment, the Internet as a teaching and learning resources, educational research with software and multimedia material and advanced research tools.
