Syllabus:Working under the supervision of the news director and senior reporters, the preparation of stories for inclusion in the hourly bulletins broadcast on community radio. Includes gathering news, editing, writing and attending media events and press conferences.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Developed high level writing, reporting, editing, presentation and production skills. Understood the changing news environment and the implications of new technology for the industry.
