Syllabus:A series of structured visits arranged to a variety of workplace premises including offices, factories, manufacturing plants and construction sites. Visits and submission of reports and diaries are compulsory.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Demonstrate an understanding of the application of safety management systems in the workplace. Present two detailed reports describing the OH and S observed in two different workplaces. Identify weaknesses in (the) Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and observe and make recommendations for improvement. Demonstrate the application of at least one of the worksafe plan elements to a case study provided.
