Syllabus:Histology of the digestive, urogenital systems, histological methods for lipids, mucosubstances, microbiology, common tissue pigments and neurohistological techniques. Pathophysiology, including introductory cytopathology concepts.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Understood the function and structure of organs of the digestive and urogenital systems. Demonstrated a basic integrated knowledge of the basic pathophysiological concepts of the digestive and urogenital systems. Showed competence in the theory and practice of related histological methods.
