Syllabus:Linear models and matrix algebra, differentiation and comparative static analysis, comparative-static analysis of general function models, exponential and logarithmic functions, optimisation, economic dynamics and integral calculus, differential and difference equations.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will have - Had an introduction to the fundamental mathematical tools used in modern economic and financial analysis.
