Syllabus:

A continuation of the research or development project which was undertaken in Science or Mathematics Education Project 691.

Sound understanding of the field of research relevant to your study; Skills of data analysis and representation; Skills of critical reading, scholarly writing, and critical reflective thinking relevant to the preparation of a research report; Successfulengagement in a community of reflective inquiry (online & classroom modes only) and a successful research report

Unit Assessment Breakdown:

Because each assignment builds on the preceding one assessment has an important formative role; Print and post mode: 3 written assignments, Online mode: discussion (50%); final assignment (50%). Face to face mode: presentations & discussion (50%); final assignment (50%). In all modes the student must complete successfully each assessable component (i.e., 50% minimum), but it is expected that the student will aspire to a 'mastery' grade of at least 80%.
