Syllabus:Appropriate aims and purposes - learning experiences to fit those aims, organising and structuring of these learning experiences, media and strategies which might be used, evaluation of the effectiveness of the experiences. Each of these aspects will be examined in relation to the needs of pupils with different abilities, backgrounds, interests and enthusiasms.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Become familiar with the Years 11 and 12 subject syllabus. Become familiar with the assessment and grading structures which are mandatory to these subjects. Developed appropriate visual arts andart history programs of study. Become familiar with structuring, organising and delivering learning experiences effectively, available media and effective strategies to be employed within an upper secondary school environment.

Unit Assessment Breakdown: Assigment 1 - Design and conduct a visual arts workshop (group work) 50%, Assignment 2 - Researching, developing and writing a post compulsory visual arts learning program (individual) 50%. This is by grade/mark assessment.
