Syllabus:To develop the necessary skills for the preparation, undertaking and presentation of individual research on a planning topic. To break down research into discrete, manageable tasks that collectively produce a competent planning report. To encourage critical self reflection of research preparation and outcomes.
 
Unit Outcomes: Upon completion of this unit the students will have developed experience in topic selection, bibliographic support, report structure and case study analysis. Gained experience in research methodologies, analysis, recommendations and reflection.
