Syllabus:Introduction of the concept of reinforcing meaning through choice of font, typographical treatment and composition.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Gained the ability to experiment with how given messages can change its meanings through the use of a font. Encouraged thinking about the connation of a font. Encouraged working with exclusively typographic layouts. Focused on emphasising and giving priority on the page. Reinforced the process from thumbnails to half sizes. Reinforced a sense of kerning and ligatures. Encouraged refinement of the hierarchy on the page.
