Syllabus:Provides an understanding of a range of written forms relevant to the contemporary workplace, and to the development of practical skills in these forms, both print and hypertext. The undertaking of research, writing and the production of materials appropriate to government, non-government, industry and community sectors. Encourages professional and personal development within professional writing and publishing practice.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will - Be familiar with a range of forms of written communication used in different workplaces. Have skills in researching, writing and producing these documents. Understand the significance of written communication in the workplace and the standards of professionalism required.
