Syllabus:Processes of business and marketing planning, enhancing capacity to engage to professional work. Professional quality business or marketing plan associates with an equine business. Groups or individuals are to prepare an analysis and business plan for a product or whole business.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated application of competencies in the various business, technical and management processes acquired during the period of study. Integrated and applied the above cognitive skills to professional orientated problem solving associated with an equine business. Developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to deal with and communicate with clients in a professional setting. Demonstrated lateral and creative thinking and problem solving skills related to an equine business. Explained the process of business planning and produce a business plan for an equine agribusiness firm or production unit. Delivered business presentations which fulfill industry and academic standards of written and oral presentation and write a report which fulfils professional standards.

Unit Assessment Breakdown: The assessment for the subject will be based on an oral presentation and written plan. This assessment is conducted by three independent judges from the Agribusiness Sector. Distribution of marks: Written Plan 75%, Oral Presentation 25%. This is a Grade/Mark assessment.
