Syllabus:Bodily integration and co-ordination (nerves, senses and endocrines), reproduction and human genetics and concludes with the study of the place of humans in the world (evolution and ecology). Classwork and assessments continue to promote the formation of teams and the development of co-operative learning skills.
 
Unit Outcomes: This unit is intended to - Extend biological knowledge and understanding of the structure and function of human systems to the level required for entry into university courses in this subject. Familiarise students with the vocabulary used to describe the body and its many systems. Assist students in developing both co-operative and independent learning skills. Provide an integrated approach to learning, drawing on other disciplines such as Chemistry and Mathematics.
