Syllabus:Wildlife and Land Management, Land Reclamation and Environmental Monitoring. Tuition is by lecture, practicals and visits to relevant organisations.
 
Unit Outcomes: Upon completion of the unit students will have - Gained an insight into a variety of applications of biology, with particular reference to environmentally sustainable development. Had the opportunity to participate in this venture. Developed an understanding of, and point of view on, how the biologist carries out particular types of work.
