Syllabus:Changes in human functioning that occurs as a result of physical and neurological health conditions. Relating impairments in body structure and function to occupation and social participation. Adult physical rehabilitation including activity and participation restrictions in self-care and domestic life in selected health conditions across the continuum of care and various contexts. Assistive devices.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Analysed the impact of impairment in body structures and function on occupational performance in self-care and domestic life activities and participation within various contexts. Justified the use of assessment techniques and treatment plans in adult physical rehabilitation of people with these conditions and how this may vary across the continuum of care and various contexts. Identified and applied a range of appropriate assistive devices to support community living.
