Syllabus:These activities are directed by professionals who facilitate in assisting students to push boundaries of experience while also examining the ways in which they are working together within various groups. Expectation to reflect on the learning experiences faced with over the course of the Master of Business Administration and develop a personal vision and mission statement to assist them in applying learnt information in planning career pathways.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Utilised outdoor and indoor development activities to apply a variety of management theories to the business environment. Communicated situational analyses appropriately to inform theory-driven business decisions within an activity. Explored various paradigms relating to personal and professional development. Awareness of cultural differences in a global business environment and are prepared to act with honesty and integrity. An ability to communicate analysis of specific situations in a format which is informative for decision making. An ability to identify leadership skills demonstrated within the group or organisation and develop strategies for strengthening leadership skills through an understanding of relevant theory and its application in a diverse range of settings. Reflected on the ways in which MBA knowledge and skills are useful to themselves, their organisation and their industries. An appreciation of the complexity of factors which influence individual, group and organisational behaviour. An ability to recognise the cultural assumptions of Australian and non-Australian management practices.

Unit Assessment Breakdown: A pass grade will be awarded upon successful completion the MBA Retreat and the Presentation Skills Workshop. These workshops involve discussion sessions, individual exercises and group sharing, preparation and delivery of presentations to the group.
