Syllabus:Practical and contextual aspects of professional practice in design, including the development of professional practice notes. Advanced techniques in visual communication are covered in workshops to each specific design specialism within visual communication - Creative Advertising, Graphic Design, Design Photography and Illustration.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to - Develop design strategies, perform basic design industry analysis and develop professional practice systems and procedures.
