Syllabus:Understanding of theory and practice relating to network service and support, including backup strategies, tuning networks and servers, installation and configuration of network devices and network monitoring and security.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed critical thinking and problem solving skills in relation to computer networks. An understanding of computer networking concepts, technology and issues. The ability to analyse a situation and recommend a solution.
