Syllabus:A brief background in research methodology - to define or carry out a project, literature review, methodology, project proposal that may be helpful in obtaining funding, and where appropriate begin work on the project.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Clearly defined the underlying problem project. Competently review a research article. Written a clear and comprehensive literature review project. Compared and contrasted alternative research methodologies. Prepared a detailed research proposal. Independently written clear, readable, informative and imaginative exercises and assignments. Enhanced skills as reflective learners and delivered verbal presentations that are clear, concise, interesting and informative and in particular delivered and defended.
