Syllabus:Working under the supervision of the News Director and senior reporters, students will prepare stories for inclusion in the hourly bulletin broadcast on Community Radio. High-level skills in gathering news, interviewing, editing and writing are developed. Attendance at media events and press conferences when required.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Developed high level writing, reporting, editing, presentation and production skills. An understanding of the changing news environment and the implications of new technology for the industry.
