Syllabus:Feature writing is the heart and soul of a newspaper. Using traditional research techniques in conjunction with the Internet and other electronic tools, students write feature articles for publication in the Perth Independent, Curtin Journalism's community newspaper.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Advanced skills in research and writing for media publication. An appreciation of different forms of writing for the print media.
