Syllabus:Various forms of property ownership, investment and securitisation vehicles. Identification and description of the role of statutory authorities that regulate the industry. The descriptive nature of the content of this unit is complemented by a direct contact with the full texts and contexts of legal decisions and interpretation. Institutional international comparisons will also be attempted.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit stdents will have- K On successful completion of this unit students will have- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework governing the property and mortgage sectors.
