Syllabus:Developing designs for appropriate post-mining land forms. Grading landforms that will behave and evolve in a predictable manner and according to the design principles established. Establishing appropriate and sustainable ecosystems.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Gained a sound understanding of the design and application of the above process that occurs at almost all mine sites. This also includes surveying requirements.
