Syllabus:Structured program in a health care setting to do with an individual health care services project. Design a research proposal in area of individual student choice that evaluates current philosophies and developments in health.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Conducted a literature review to identify problems within health care systems. Demonstrated an awareness of current philosophies and developments in the health arena. Prepared a research proposalutilising appropriate format and referencing. Demonstrated and ability to analyse and interpret data. Undertaken a professional practice project and placement in a area of choice to previous learning. Demonstrated an ability to apply professional skills in a health environment. Demonstrated appropriate administrative and time management skills infrastructure and system requirements of health informatics. Demonstrated an ability to analyse and interpret data packages. Undertaken a management professional practice placement focusing on an individual project associated with health care services.
