Syllabus:The investigation, research, critical evaluation, analysis, design and prototype development of a nominated engineering activity. The writing of a thesis on the work done.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have gained an appreciation of the professional life of an engineer and assessed their potential as such, through the excercise of judgement on solving an implied engineering related problem. They willlearn to manage a formal engineering project culminating in the presentation of a significant thesis report.
