Syllabus:Spatial data pre-processing and analysis. Exploration of data input, visualisation and manipulation, design capabilities, data linkages and output for spatial applications. Introduction to surveying and mine surveying software systems. Software customisation and development. The one hour laboratory is optional.
 
Unit Outcomes: Upon completion of this unit students will have - Applied data processing techniques to surveying and cartography data and developed expertise in software customisation for packages used in a spatial sciences.
