Syllabus:Contains some set projects and introduces the concept of negotiated study programs developed in consultation with teaching staff. Exploration of diverse forms of art practice using available technology by utilising appropriate sound and video software and equipment in the production of project-based and self initiated time based media art works. Development of individual modes of expression appropriate to contemporary art practice. The potential of inter-disciplinary study and to establish communication with practitioners and professional organisations.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Displayed a body of work that demonstrates an understanding of time based media, theory and practice within the area of electronic arts. Demonstrated appropriate interaction with teaching staff.
