Syllabus:Principles. Advances in the last few years. Cytogenetic changes observed and relationships to different tumour types. Neuroblastoma, Medullablastoma, Breast cancer, Prostate cancer, cancers of the female reproductive organs and urinary tract.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed a strong understanding of the different types of solid tumours and the associated cytogenic conditions. Demonstrated the ability to relate prognosis to observed alterations through a continuous accumulation of knowledge.
