| Syllabus: | Definitions of anti-social and criminal behaviours. The paraphilias. Culture, society and the law. The physiology of sex and sexuality. The psychosociology of sexual behaviour. Current research in anti-social sexual behaviour. Taking a psychosocial sexual history. Analysing and assessing sexual behaviours. Program planning and evaluation. |

| Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated advanced knowledge in the range of human sexual behaviour. Demonstrated advanced knowledge, based on current research, of the physiological and psychological aspects of sexual behaviour. Demonstrated skills in taking a psychosocial sexual history. Demonstrated a foundation understanding of cultural and legal aspects of anti-social sexual behaviour. Demonstrated foundation skills in assessing and analysing sexual behaviour. Demonstrated foundation skills in planning programs appropriate to the student's professional background. |
