Syllabus:An interdisciplinary survey of Australia 1788-1918, exploring its culture, history, literature and geography - colonial beginnings, the rise of nationalism, Federation, the Great War and its impact.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- A social and cultural analysis and overview of Australia from pre-colonisation to world war one. An understanding and practice of interdisciplinary analysis.
