Syllabus:An introduction to the processes of starting and managing a small firm. Marketing, operational and financial issues are all examined. In addition, contemporary issues in small and medium enterprise management will be analysed, including family based businesses, business advisors, sustainability challenges and future directions.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have an - Ability to conduct an effective business plan. Knowledge of small and medium enterprise management practices. Ability to deal with business growth issues.
