Syllabus:Broad outline of the nature, methods and fields of psychology. Introduction to psychology and methodological issues related to the study of human beings. Introduction to social psychology, personality, health, developmental and psychopathology.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have an understanding of - The relevance of psychology to a number of health professional areas. Application of the applied areas of psychology to real world situations.
