Syllabus:This unit examines the framework of sports law, sport and criminal law, torts and sports, contract law in sports, sports marketing and legal issues, taxation, dispute resolution.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit students will have- Described how the legal environment pertains to sport. Built upon basic elements of contract. Drafted a basic sporting contract without precedents. Understood how the law of torts and criminal lawrelates to the sporting environment. Appreciated basic aspects of taxation. Appreciated the dispute resolution procedures.
