Syllabus:Individual 'negotiated programs' designed to develop more advanced skills in one of the following specialisations within the visual arts - drawing, figure drawing, fibre, textiles, fashion, paint, print media, sculpture, jewellery - three dimensional design, electronic arts, audio-visual and photography. Students develop a coherent body of work for public exhibition.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Demonstrated a sound technical and conceptual methodology for intensive and professional studio practice. Clearly articulated the conceptual basis of studio practice and demonstrate a high level of skill resolution with specific and appropriate media. Articulated their research concerns in appropriate written and verbal language. Demonstrated independent research skills in relation to their professional practice. Demonstrated and articulated a mature understanding of the relationship between studio practice and contemporary visual arts theory. Resolved a coherent body of work for exhibition.
