Syllabus:Implements the elements and principles of visual language to find solutions to set problems. Students are encouraged to utilise all aspects of this language (formal, conceptual, analytic, experimental and expressive) to investigate suitable strategies ofart making. Students will test possibilities with a range of appropriate media through self/staff initiated research to complete set tasks.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have demonstrated - an appropriate level of problem solving, critical thinking and imagination to articulate ideas through appropriate forms, skills in documenting and representing ideas in a variety of forms and successfully resolved set tasks and self initiated projects with a highly developed level technique and suitable use of materials.
