Syllabus:The management and development of Geographic Information System, GIS, projects. GIS application development and implementation. GIS project management. Current applications and issues.
 
Unit Outcomes: On completion of this unit students will have - Had exposure to a range of management issues in GIS, support while developing skills and knowledge relevant to work in the GIS industry and facilitated practical experience in the form of project teams undertaking and managing GIS application development projects from inception to solution.
