Syllabus:Practical experience of measuring basic selected examples of plumbing and sewer drainage installations. Analysis of labour, materials and plant costs and the preparation of unit rate costs for various building works trades and associated preliminary items. Practical experience of applying the Everest software package to tendering situations.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Furthered their knowledge about the application of computer estimating techniques. Had practical experiences of using 'Everest' to analyse and use tender information.
