Syllabus:Practical projects for individual students undertaken in cooperation with industry for the equivalent of four weeks full-time work. The work may involve laboratory or field work or a combination of both. At the conclusion of the period of work, a written report is submitted by students giving details of their technical and other experience during the work program.
 
Unit Outcomes: On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Demonstrated practical skills in an aspect of aquaculture or a related area. Presented a report and seminar. Demonstrated knowledge of the operational procedures of the host company or organisation, and applied their knowledge of the scientific principles of aquaculture or related discipline to the company or organisation operations.
